31 Days to Build a Better Blog Workbook Review
On Darren’s 31 Days to Build a Better Blog sales page it states that over 19,000 other bloggers have brought this ebook. YES you read that right! Over 19,000 people have brought this ebook at the time of writing this review. That statistic alone gives you an insight into the quality of this ebook.
What is it?
To quote Darren’s sales page:
“31 Days to Build a Better Blog is a downloadable e-book designed to help you revitalize your blog by giving you 31 tasks that will all help to turn it into the page view powerhouse you’ve always dreamed of.”
It is presented in a downloadable workbook format where you can work though the lessons at your own pace – simply put there are 31 lessons set to be actioned over 31 days.
Personally I found this “do it at my own pace” type learning very appealing because as I’m sure many of you out there reading this would understand – family comes first and sometimes the best laid plans just don’t pan out.
To quote the preface:
“The idea is simple. By the end of this challenge you’ll have learned 31 aspects of blogging and put them into practice. It is designed not only to fill your head with knowledge ABOUT blogging but also give you some concrete things to do to actually DO something with the knowledge.”
There are 31 tasks in the ebook each focusing on a different area of blogging. There’s plenty of teachings and tips on how to actually implement each individual task. One of my favourite parts of the ebook is the included notes area to take notes and make musings on learnings.
This workbook is packed with links to many resources that aid in helping out with that particular task.

How to use 31DBBB?
31 Day to Build a Better Blog was originally designed to be consumed by doing 1 task per day for 31 days.
When I went through the workbook I did more like 3 – 4 tasks per week because I didn’t have the time to do one task everyday – it worked perfectly ok for me.
Please don’t think that after you buy this workbook you must commit to doing one task everyday for 31 days – that isn’t the case.
At the end of the day I don’t think it really matters if you complete the workbook in 31 days or 331 days. By downloading this workbook you are already on the right path.
The thing that struck me with 31 Days to Build a Better Blog was how well the information is put together, and in particular the depth of each topic.
Darren’s many years of professional blogging experience is apparent throughout this workbook.
